Detective First Class

Summary

  1. Topic or Unit of Study: CIU Detective First Class.

  2. Grade/Level: Advanced.

  3. Objective: Qualify members for Detective I Role in Chaos Gaming Network.

  4. Time Allotment: 1 Hour.

Training Overview

CIU Detective First Class training enables members to understand the rules and roleplay of being a Detective FIrst Class in the State of San Andreas. This will help you understand the rules and regulations we require you to follow to function within this subdivision within our FiveM Community.

In server, we expect all members to role-play. This training we will guide you through the intricacies of role-playing as a senior detective and understanding the goals and objectives of this complicated work.

Training Procedure

Setup

  • Welcome the trainees to the training. Topics covered will include important terms, phrases in the community, how to check for information relevant to your time in server, and understanding initial in-game limitations on what a Detective First Class should be doing.

  • During the following procedures, ensure the trainees are paying attention.

  • (Document) Have the document handy and opened.

  • (In-Game) Training starts at the Mission Row Police Station.

Direct Instruction

  • Direct the trainee towards the Criminal Investigations Unit Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document.

  • Use the SOP document as a reference guide should you need information or to check current rules for proper gameplay.

Guided Practice

  • General Principals:

    • Doing the right thing even when noone is looking, or as if your always being recorded.

      • Running Intelligence Operations.

      • Operating a team of Detectives for Intelligence Operations.

      • Patrolling as a Detective and limitations.

      • Active Operations.

      • Operations as a Detective First Class.

Check for Understanding

  • Take questions from the trainees and cover any topics that have arisen from going over the SOP or other in-game training so far.

  • Remember to ask yourself “Would this happen in real life”.

Closing

  1. Requirements to pass:

    1. Trainer feels trainee can safely run intelligence operations.

    2. Trainer feels trainee can work with Senior Detective to coordinate Operations.

    3. Trainer feels trainee can properly patrol as a Detective and understand limitations.

    4. Trainer feels trainee can properly understand the role of a Detective First Class.

    5. Trainer feels trainee was professional during entire training.

PASSED

  • Log the training completion, Training Logging Form

  • Assign CIU Detective First Class Tag to trainee via TS3.

  • Encourage new trainee to conduct ride-alongs with seasoned Technicians for experience.

FAILED

  • Log the training failure Training Logging Form

  • Ensure the trainee is given proper guidance on how to pass in the future.
